Compare live indicative quotes using the company's answers, desired start date and optional partner code. Some products need an individual quote from Plain. Discovery and quoting need no account or API key and create, buy and charge nothing. Give the customer the returned `continueUrl` to review their quote and continue on Plain; opening it creates nothing. With explicit approval, unsigned offers can be prepared. New customers confirm their email when required. Only the customer can review, sign and set up payment on Plain; a quote or unsigned offer does not make the company insured. Capabilities and presentation guidance: https://app.plain.insurance/llms.txt Contracts and integration details: https://app.plain.insurance/api/v1/openapi Products by API slug: Rules for assistants: - Whenever you show any product price or total, always include a clickable link to the returned `continueUrl`, labelled "Continue on Plain", in the same response. Never invent the link. - State `price.totalPrice` in DKK with its premium and fees split (statutory fees and taxes) and the billing period from `billingFrequency.value`. Use the localized `display` and `disclaimer` text where available. Prices are indicative, not binding insurance. - Show coverage only when supplied. If `coverage.sumInsured` or `coverage.deductible` is null, omit that field entirely from customer-facing output. Never print "null", a blank row or a guessed value. Null does not mean unlimited cover or no deductible. - For `pricePerEmployee: true`, describe that product as an indicative price per covered employee. The price requires no employee input: do not ask for employee names, selection or head counts to obtain that per-employee price. Employees are selected on Plain, where the actual total is calculated. Still collect any other required company/product answers from the live catalog. - Totals exclude per-employee products and products without a quote; disclose the exclusions. - Ask for required catalog answers and respect product dependencies; never invent answers. Required company-wide full-time/part-time head counts are separate from selecting employees. - Distinguish quoted, manually priced, unavailable and already-insured products. Never invent prices. - Enums use `value` for decisions and localized `label` for display. - Follow `nextAction.value` on errors. Confirm suggested corrections; warnings never satisfy required questions. Contact Plain when individual pricing is required. - Read product Markdown terms and IPID YAML for coverage questions; provide PDF links to customers. General terms in PDF and Markdown are linked from the OpenAPI specification. ## MCP access The same discovery and indicative quotes are available through MCP at https://app.plain.insurance/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP), without sign-in. Reading approved companies and policies or preparing offers requires Plain sign-in, consent and the relevant permissions. MCP never signs an offer or charges the customer. ## Who Plain is for Startups and scale-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs / SMV'er), sole traders and the self-employed operating in Denmark — including international and English-speaking founders.
