Risk class

A risk class groups industries and occupations by how likely they are to have claims. It feeds into the premium – the higher the risk in an industry, the higher the price. That’s why it matters that your business is registered with the correct industry and type of work.

Examples

A carpentry firm is in a higher risk class than an advertising agency because the risk of workplace accidents is greater.
