Sum insured

The sum insured is the maximum amount the insurer will pay for a loss. It should match the real value of what is insured – too low and you are under-insured, too high and you overpay. The sum insured is stated in your policy.

Examples

If your furnishings are insured for DKK 200,000, the most you can be paid is DKK 200,000, even if the loss is larger.
