Personal injury
A personal injury is physical or psychological harm to a person, such as a fracture, a burn or a stress reaction. It can give a right to compensation for lost earnings and treatment costs, indemnity for permanent injury, and compensation for loss of earning capacity. Injuries to employees at work are covered by occupational injury insurance.
