Policyholder
The policyholder is the person or company that has entered into the insurance agreement and pays the premium. The policyholder is responsible for giving correct information and can change or cancel the policy. The policyholder isn’t necessarily the person who is covered.
Examples
An ApS takes out health insurance for its ten employees. The company is the policyholder, and the employees are the insured persons.
