Utility connections
Utility connections (in Danish, stikledninger) are the pipes and cables connecting a building to the public network – water, drainage, heating, gas, electricity and alternative energy. They often run underground, and repairs can be expensive. Cover for them is usually part of, or an add-on to, building insurance.
Examples
A break in the water pipe between the building and the municipal main is damage to the utility connections.
